Government Support and Collaboration

The FWC 2025 has received strong backing from the Vietnamese Government. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has met with Turgut Erkeskin, FIATA President, and VLA leaders on two occasions to discuss cooperation opportunities and preparations for the congress.

A Global Gathering of Industry Leaders

Recognized as the most significant event in the global logistics calendar, the congress is expected to attract:

Over 1,200 delegates from more than 150 countries.

Representatives from 1,000+ leading enterprises in logistics, transportation, import-export sectors.

Key stakeholders, including international organizations, policymakers, and top industry experts.

Themed “Green Logistics and Rapid Adaptation”, the congress will feature in-depth discussions on critical industry topics, such as:

Restructuring of global trade.

Cross-border e-commerce logistics.

Cold chain logistics.

Investment opportunities in Asian logistics.

Focus on Green Logistics

The congress aligns with Vietnam’s National Action Plan on Green Growth for 2021–2030, which designates logistics as one of the 18 priority sectors for sustainable development.

The concept of green logistics extends beyond clean fuels and energy-efficient transportation. It encompasses a comprehensive ecosystem aimed at:

Optimizing processes across product design, manufacturing, sourcing, and transportation.

Minimizing emissions.

Conserving resources and enhancing operational resilience.

“When green logistics is effectively implemented, businesses not only achieve cost savings but also improve crisis resilience and build long-term competitive advantages,” a VLA representative stated.

Global Challenges and Opportunities

FIATA President Turgut Erkeskin emphasized the centrality of green logistics in achieving environmental responsibility, legal compliance, and competitive advantage.

He added:
“FWC 2025 will be a pivotal moment for the global logistics sector as it navigates challenges such as emission reduction mandates, geopolitical tensions, and digital transformation. This congress will provide a platform for businesses to reassess strategies and develop sustainable models.”

The event is also poised to stimulate international investment in Vietnam’s logistics sector. As a rapidly growing economy in the Asia-Pacific region, Vietnam’s role as host solidifies its position as an emerging logistics hub for the region and the world.

Opportunities for Vietnamese Businesses

FWC 2025 presents a unique opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises, particularly small and medium-sized businesses, to:

Connect with international markets.

Forge new partnerships.

Expand their participation in the global supply chain.

As the logistics industry faces an era of transformation, this congress promises to serve as a catalyst for innovation, collaboration, and sustainable growth in Vietnam and beyond.
